Restaurant Review: Jerusalem Grill **repost from eatingelpaso**

Right before the Dirty Girl Disaster when I sprained my ankle, Ken took me to Jerusalem Grill. It was really good!

I had the meat combo platter. You get a choice of 3 of the meat options, plus hummus, salad, rice, and pita. You get a LOT of rice.  For the meats I chose chicken kebab, kafta, and kebbeh. The kafta was really good with some awesome flavors. The kebbeh was a tiny bit too dry and it was difficult to eat, but it was still good. My favorite thing was definitely the chicken though. I’d be happy just getting that and the baba ganouj next time.  My plate was super pretty, too.

Ken  got the appetizer plate and a plate of kebbeh. It came with hummus, baba ganouj, dolmas, falafel, spanakopita, and pita. He said it was all great but my favorite thing was definitely the baba ganouj. It was really creamy and had the most wonderful smoky flavor! We asked the waitress about it and she said that the smoked eggplant was actually sold next door in the attached international food store. We’re talking about trying to do it ourselves.

I definitely recommend this place. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
