Chuao Potato Chip Bar **repost from eatingelpaso**

CANDY! If you’ve known me for a while, you know about my “thing” with candy. I used to do video reviews of different kinds of candy with my best friend Kathryn. We stopped doing them after a while because vlogging kind of got taken over by people obsessed with making money with YT and my friends on there stopped making videos, mostly (although my friend LisaSimpson still puts them out once in a while- what’s up, Beccah!). Ken and I went to World Market the other day and got some snaaaaaaaaacks, and this candy bar was one of them.

The wrapper is nice. It’s kind of a neat matte feel and look. The picture isn’t the most appetizing to me, but eh. Whatever. The description from the package reads “Crisp kettle cooked potato chips and a hint of sea salt mix and mingle in milk chocolate.” It’s pretty accurate. The chocolate has a nice smell to it, and melted smoothly. It was kind of warm today so there was no snap though. I think it was a bit on the sweet side for my taste but I wouldn’t want to try it with a dark chocolate. It might be good with semisweet or something.  The salt is lovely of course, but you know how I love salt and chocolate. I was very surprised by the chips. They kept a really good, crisp crunch! I have had chocolate bars with chips before and they were soggy and tasteless. Not so with Chuao. Bravo!

You can see the nice shine and cute design molded on the top. I definitely recommend this bar if you like salt and crisps in your chocolate. No pic of the inside because you couldn’t really see the chips, but you could sure taste them!
