Missing El Paso **repost from eatingelpaso**

OK not really. I just wanted a witty title. I’m actually going to talk about credit a little bit, because I’m currently obsessed with it. I have quite a few credit cards, in my opinion, and they’re all pretty close to the limit. SO, my goal for the next few months is to get them down below 30% of the limit. It’s kind of hard when you don’t have a job, but I’m finding ways to make money. I found some little online jobs that actually pay me real money, and not game credits or tokens for facebook or some other stupid thing.  So far I’ve made 2 credit card payments and paid for one month of Netflix, yay! Did you know that you can get your credit report free once a year from all 3 credit reporting bureaus? Yeah, you can.  Just go to annualcreditreport.com and fill that junk out.

Why do I suddenly care? Well, we’re moving in a few months. Yep, Eating El Paso is moving back to Colorado! I guess I could technically keep the name, because we’ll probably be living in El Paso County. I don’t really know what I’m going to do with it yet. Ken and I had a plan for a blog up there, but I’m rethinking the name and the premise of it. I think we might just jump over to our joint blog for that, because the name is hilarious and we already own it.  **edit: obviously done.**  Anyway, we’re going back HOME!! I am super, super excited.  I keep thinking about all the restaurants I want to go to, and all the people I want to visit. Especially my friends Kathy and Beccah, who I visited with in an earlier blog post.

I can’t honestly say that there’s too much about El Paso I’ll miss. Here’s a list of some stuff, though, off the top of my head.

The El Paso Zoo, where we bought memberships. SUPER fun on snowy days when nobody else is there!

Bahama Bucks, an awesome shaved ice joint. Tasty and awesome on hot summer days in the desert.

My wonderful friend Darlina Marie, the first bellydancer I found when I moved down here.  Check her out, she’s a wonderful poet and an amazing dancer and teacher!

El Taco Tote. I love pretty much anyplace with a fresh salsa bar.   (Makes a racket when you open the page)

Pro’s Ranch Market. It’s kind of like a Mexican Chuck E. Cheese’s for adults.

My girls in Hodge Podge Tribal.  I don’t really have words. My super wonderful amazing hilarious friend Salem already left the building.  Guess it’s my turn.

My friend Kelsey and her husband Dan. I will really miss her. I’m hoping that they’re able to make their way north in a year or so when his window opens up. Fangers crossed!

So that’s my news.  Now the countdown begins.

4 months, 2 weeks, 6 days and counting…
